That external memory slot is a deal killer.

What's up with the resolution anyway.

They do that on all their phones as it is a standard phone res (remember PalmOS was build not on a 4:3 but a 1:1 layout).

    and the keyboard?

Its a PHONE first, not a PDA. Hence no keyboard. Plus, since GSL usually serves the Chinese market, input options are best left to handwriting recognition and T9-style input.

Yes, it's sad we can't get more variety from Palm itself! All we get is the Treo. I would like to see a flip phone again. And they can get a candy bar Palm OS phone in the east?
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

Well, you can get it, and it doesnt seem a bad price for an export, but with no BT, its an iffy buy for some. Also, in the states performance will be spotty. Put next to a 650, you will see how much Palm brought to the platform though, its not a little bit and its quite nice.

No BT is indeed not good. You see what happened when people thought the 680 wouldn't have BT, LOL!

In addition, look at the keypad. I have that style on my Nextel and absolutely hate it. Ben

Its nice, a bit big, but nice. This would be a very nice competitor to the 680 if brought here.
