Hi everyone, I just looked on the Samsung web site and saw that have released the i320 11.5mm thick smartphone. Samsung makes great products and I would expect this is as well.

Does anyone know if there are plans to bring this phone to North America? I would snap this up in a secon if so.

It's definitely a sweet phone. The only quirk I've noticed is the requirement to remove the battery to switch out the micro-SD card. Oh, and the fact that it's not CDMA.

Looks like its running Win Mob5 SMARTPHONE Edition. I had a Q for about two weeks from Verizon and returned it becuase this OS was so terrible. Dang....

I know some people have replaced their Treos with Qs, but when push came to shove and I was trying to get work done in the field, the Q just left me struggling with menus, dumb prompts and in general, just a very clunky interface.

The Q has taken me from a mostly one-handed phone (Treo) to a purely one-handed one at no loss of capability (and some added capability where I wanted it) for my needs.

Just as the Blade out performed the Razr, I think Samsung might have another winner and hopefully Sprint gets it.

It looks like rumors are flying going both ways....but most of them seem to pointing to Sprint getting Blackjack, the codename for the CDMA i320, in Dec this year.

This one has really caught my eye......but does it have a touch screen? That might be a deal breaker for me if it does not as I remote control my work desktop a lot.

I has also been confirmed that it will run WM5!

Treo's days are numbered."Some unknown device will kill it soon ".

    Bah, no 3G!
But it does look very similar to a Moto Q.
I'd get the Moto Q or this thing if it came out for Cingular 3G. I'm sick of the stupid touch screen.
    EDIT
    Check that...
According to this http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/inde...howtopic=12626 it may in fact have HSDPA. Oh man. I finally decided I was getting the Cingular 8525, now I'm second guess that and might want to hold out for the i320.
Ugh, this is killing me. Geez, well I may just have to get both if I can afford them.

    i320 Pros:
+No stinkin' touch screen (= 100% one handed.)
    +Small, light, thin, and sexy
    +Same resolution as TyTn/8525 (240x320)
    Cons:
-WM5 smartphone edition, although I'm not convinced that's a con
    -No Wifi

The Samsung sgh i600 has connectivity up the wazoo (wifi, umts, bluetooth, hsdpa, mass storage), the successor to the i320.

Here are some interesting links that seem to contradict themselves:
