Well, I have what's causing the majority of my resets on the 700p. It turns out that ANY extra digits in favorites causes it to reset when connected to my car via bluetooth. It only happens when it tries to synch the favorites, so it's not immediate. I'm also have intermittent issues with bluetooth DUN. Overall it's working but the bluetooth implementation seems sub-par.

How do you like the 8125?
It's ok. I'm very appreciative that my company bought it for me and pays the bills, but that said: I still think it's way behind the Treo in terms of usability and maturity. Also: I absolutely hate the slide-out keyboard. I could type twice as fast on my Treo 650.

The longer I had my Treo the more I liked it. The longer I have this device the less I like it. Oh well. WM5 is still the future and PalmOS has a shelf life.

That said: If I were buying a device myself for myself right now it would be the Treo 650. (Or the 700 if a GSM model were released.)

well i would buy the treo 700w in a heart beat if it was on sprint's network. but i want to get the sero plan, and the 700w is not available. I am hoping that I can buy the phone from a store, swith to the sero plan and then the 700w comes out within 30 days so i can go back and exchange it out.

I just want the window's interface.

i own a 6700 and its a pain in the ****.the keyboard is good but I like the treo's waaay better. I didn't know how much 1 handed operation mean to me. I hate the fact that you have to touch the screen to call someone not on your contacts.

I really want to trade this for a 700p.

You don't have to touch the screen to call somebody that is not in your contacts. You have 2 options.

1.) MS Voice Command or Voice Commander.

2.) Slide the keyboard open and use the keyboard.

I know that but sliding a keyboard open to dial a number is hard to do with one hand.

Maybe since I'm used to it, it comes naturally whenever I need to do it. (whenever I'm in an environment that is too loud for voice dialing or when it would be deemed inappropriate)

    Here's a clip:

P.S. The video was taken with my wife's SMT 5600 so quality is not very good.
