    Here's a very brief mention of a possible Apple PDA. (See #6.)
    http://www.ehomeupgrade.com/entry/2397/future_apple_os

    This guy claims to have an NDA with Apple, and is confirming these rumors.

    If it's true, I wouldn't expect Apple to release a stand-alone PDA given the shrinking market. The question in my mind is, will the PDA be an extension of the iPod, or a new smartphone device?

    Palm III-->Palm IIIxe-->Palm 505-->Samsung i300-->Treo 600-->PPC 6600-->Treo 650-->Treo 700wx-->BB Pearl--> BB Curve

    An Apple PDA rumor seems to come around about twice a year, and I guess it's about that time again.

    But did you happen to catch the footnote of that article:

    UPDATE / Editor's note: Whoops! It looks like we got duped. It seems that this list of 20 originally was posted at MacNN ( http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.php?t=291048 ) as part of an April Fool's joke. Sorry about the mix up. Nonetheless, the supposed upcoming features make for good conversation (as seen on digg -- http://digg.com/apple/List_of_20_new...X_10.5_Leopard ).

    What's the big deal anyway - with Mac's running WinXP, the iPhone will probably be WM5!
    Remember, the "P" in PDA stands for personal.
    If it works for you, it is "P"erfect.
