"The 8707v is based on a 312MHz Intel PXA901 processor backed with 16MB of SRAM and 64MB of Flash memory. In addition to 3G connectivity, the handset provides quad-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS operation, though it's not clear whether EDGE support is included as it is with regular 8700-series Blackberries. However, it seems the 3G modem is used exclusively for data.

The new model sports a 320 x 240, 65,635-colour display. It has Bluetooth 2.0 on board, and a battery capable of delivering up to five hours' talk time, according to details posted by network airtime reseller Airtime Manager, a subsidiary of mobile phone rental agency Adam Phones.

At this stage, it's not clear when the 8707v will ship, or how much it will cost."
