You shouldn't see the 700 listed on Sprint's website, they don't offer a 700-anything right now.

Why would you expect to see a phone that doesn't exist?

This is a sad statement on someones inability to comprehend something. Markstanco, read the posts again.
There is no 700 with Sprint ANYWHERE so you will not see one ANYWHERE.

Actually, he is partly correct. While there is NO 700 listed (for obvious reasons) to see all of the phones you must click on the business tab and you should see everything that is currently offered.

That said, there are times that if you call telesales you can sometimes find more phones offered (the Sony Ericsson T608 was never listed but sold through telesales)

It was perfectly legitimate answer. 700p does not exist officially as we speak.

    THANK YOU.

I did not know the business tab would bring up additional phones. My local Sprint stores has the Crackberry, but I did not see it on the Sprint page. For that reason alone, I was wondering if there were any 'others' out there that I might be missing to buy an employee of mine.

I am sorry to the rest of you for asking a legitimate question.

The question was legitimate until you mentioned the 700. It'd be like saying you can't find a Buick Riviera for sale on Sprints site, how come? Had you not mentioned a phone that doesn't exist on the network yet, and why it's not listed, nobody would have said anything about it.

It wasn't a legitimate question. Sprint doesn't offer a 700-anything. Sorry if you're having a hard time with this. You asked a question, I answered you. Why would you expect to see a phone that doesn't exist? Do you think that Sprint's putting links to phones in development on their website? Do you think that's a good business practice?

A smart arse answer would've been to direct you to www.fairytalephones.com, where all the magical Treo-killers currently in deveopment live in peace and harmony.

That's true, Sprint won't list all of their phones on their consumer website, but all of the phones that actually exist in the real world will be somewhere in their system.

Believe me, Sprint won't be hiding their next Treo.

With how many times Sprint has NOT listed all of their phones on the consumer side of their website, I think it is a very valid question.

You often times have to look at phones listed under the Business side vs the Consumer side of the website. I believe (for the most part) you will find a fairly comprehensive list there. If there is a specific phone you are looking for you might be lucky to get some information by calling customer sales if it is loaded and noted in their computer system.

EDIT: I just noticed Bigboy already posted this tip.

    really? Re-read my QUESTION.

I personally thought the 700 was available, as I saw an article in January where the 700 would be available in February.

Again, I am sorry for wasting your time.

Your question implied that Sprint's website wasn't showing you all available phones, since the 700 wasn't listed. I told you that the 700 doesn't exist, so there was no reason for you to think that Sprint's list was incomplete.

You're the one who got defensive when you got an perfectly reasonable answer that you didn't like.

You have to excuse some of the people on this site. The 700 is really a hot button. Lots of speculation about a possible 700p model that is rumored for Sprint soon. As for the 700w, Verizon has an exclusive on that for the next few months.

For lists of phones past and present, you can also try www.phonescoop.com
