Not a fan of flip open keyboard designs. Not a fan of Windows pocket PC.

But my treo is doing fine, just thought you might want to know.

Spec wise, it looks pretty good. Not found of the flip open keyboard but the screen looks pretty good.

Its sounds a bit Treo 800ish, doesn't it

Anyway, the 512 MB RAM sounds completely unrealistic, and not to include a VGA display in such a powerhouse is just plain stupid. Interesting concept however.

I dig it, I would prefer VGA on the inside and a 0-9 keypad on the outside.

OMG heavier than Universal! Too thick for my liking but I guess that is because of the hard drive. I wonder if it have same issues as Lifedrive…

The LD's issues were 90% due to using the HDD as virtual RAM (which is pretty stupid). This one a lot of real flash ROM, and the HDD would mount just like a large storage card. It will have all its own issues

The 8GB HDD might be a bit much for me. I would like to see a candy bar phone similar to this or the xv9800 with an internal VGA screen a QVGA external screen aswell as a 0-9 keypad. SD or MiniSD slot, wifi, bluetooth 1.2 or 2.0, EV-DO, and WM5. Something like the MPX would be cool too, but that never really got produced.

Does that thing come loaded with Zelda & Super Mario Bros?

Shouldn't that thing say "ACME" on it?

with a 624mhz processor... battery life is going to be a whopping hour long? not practical. Yeah, battery life might be longer, but that's only if you get a fat battery pack for it. you'll be carrying a huge brick in your pocket.

Not a fan of the HD. Flash memory is so much more practical IMO, now with 4gb coming onto the scene. I would prefer the 0-9 on the outside as well. Higher res on the inside display, too.

I do love the form factor, though.

my ipaq has a 624 xscale on it and with an 1800mah battery i get 8 hours, that's very similar to the treo battery and the ipaq has a much more impressive screen. don't diss the battery power- however now that i'm reading it again- a hard drive will both kill the power and if you drop this sucker say goodbye to your data.
