Sorry , if this has been discussed at length.
This device is the mother of all.
I am ready to compromise on the size with all these features.

    What da ya think?

I saw that on here before. Who will be selling it, anyone know?
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

Here's a tease from a comparable one that's right around the bend: http://www.origamiproject.com/2/
You may be right; I may be crazy. But, the Treo may be just the device I've been looking for.

Unfortuantely I think that's much bigger than a pocket will allow.

    A phone/pda/computer with 40 gig hard drive .
The size is not that bad . It would be pocketable in my labcoat if not in pants.
    That's not bad at all.
Suppose to be available this month, however i am bit sceptical after oqo release.
If this device performs all the things mentioned . I will reach my nirvana and end the quest, for a perfect device .Will stop browsing engadget and gizmodo, 3 times a day.
    That's is it .
    Don't need anything else.
Eventually, good BT headsets ,will kill the portability debate, and devices like these, will rock.

The new OQO is $2K; the Origami is supposed to come in under $1K. I don't know how they compare. We'll see next week. Here's an earlier representation with a lot more teasing:

I just can't find info regarding size and weight on the site you linked to. How "big" is this device?

Can't really see people using that as a phone

Pocketable for me means jeans--and I shouldn't know it's in there just walking around. I have enough crap I need to carry around, and I'm not putting on a lab coat. :-)

Taz, this is an "other handheld", but it's not a phone.
K, you need some serious jeans http://auctions.yahoo.com/auction/96865776

Sorry, too big (maybe I should re-phrase that).
Remember, the "P" in PDA stands for personal.
If it works for you, it is "P"erfect.

Here's a pic to get the idea of how LARGE it really is.
