    Hi Guys and Gals,

I just noticed a ad for the Motorola 'Q' (I'm not sure if it's out yet, but you can look at it on Motorola's website).

I'm not pushing this, I just wanted if anyone has more information on it.

It look as if they totally copied the Treo 700w and put the Motorola name on it.

I'm not sure if it will do everything that our 650 will do or the new 700w.

I used to like Motorola cellphones in general, but haven't had one in years.

Has anyone already discussed this on the TreoCentral forums, I would like just to see what was written about it.

    Thanks
    Robert

I think it's more a copy of the Tungsten W. Prabably a good alternative for more data oriented use.

    Except:

    1) it's more of a phone
    2) it's more media-oriented (320x240 landscape screen--a PPC phone first, IIRC
    3) it's designed as an alternative to a Blackberry as much as to a Treo--
    4) it runs the simplified Windows Mobile version (i.e. no touchscreen)

I've read it's coming to Verizon (which really surprised me--I expected it to be GSM rather than CDMA). I'm really hoping Hollywood (the rumored thinner, internal antenna Treo model) will come through for GSM.
