I'm not getting the notification from the app catalog so I can update it and use my veer past the end of July.
    Any help?
    Thanks
WebOS used to be great! 👎

Pre, Veer and now iPhone. Since HP killed WebOS.

Just go in the app catalog and search for the app catalog update. Download, install, enjoy.

Once you've done that, you're free to delete the icon from your launcher

Is there any was to have the updated cert added to future webOS Internals doctors. It might minimize some frustration during those pesky reloads.

Yes you can. Just open up the App Catalog and search for App Catalog Update. Install that.

OTA is not going to happen.

I believe John Steffes is working on a script for incorporating the new cert into Meta-Doctors and Super-Scripts.

What exactly do you mean by "non official OS?" If you have App Cat access you should still be able to get the Update simply by installing it via the App Catalog...

My Official OS is 1.4 and I got 1.4.5 so I canīt access to the app catalog..

Now I installed 2.1 and now I can open the app catolg but it seems like I have the 1.4 and search for the update and nothings appear...

I just added the app catalog update and I want to make sure it was installed. What do I look for to make sure it was properly installed?

Some users are getting false negatives...

If you have the Internalz Pro file manager (Internalz Pro v1.5.0) you can use it to navigate to the certificate and open it to read the expiry date...

If you have WOSQI - a.k.a. webOS Quick Install - (http://forums.webosnation.com/canuck...-v4-5-0-a.html) you can use it to pull a copy of the certificate to your computer for examination...

Here (again) is the relevant location to navigate to/pull from. /etc/ssl/certs/trustedcerts/PalmWebOS.pem

Your New Certificate should look like this:

If your certificate did not update, go to the HP help page and follow the instructions again.

Try and install an app from the app catalog - any free app will do. If you can install one, then the update was successful. If you can't, then you have a problem still.
