Permission from people like you, or other people`s who are admin`s or the precursors this great open source OS. I don`t know whether of my own will can create a similar site, but in my native leanguage.

Aaaa and I want ask you something about point 1, so you say that theoretically I could install this OS but How ? Or better which hardware or computer can native support Open WebOS

1. Currently runs in a box under Ubuntu, though it shouldn't be hard to create a native version.
3. Feel free to do anything you want. The question is if you'll get enough traffic to make it worthwhile.

Wasn't there an webos boot cd image somewhere? But that's "only" the ubuntu version, right?

Actually webOs is some services and a GUI running on top of a pretty standard linux (including 3.3 Kernel), so it should run on most stuff you can run a linux for.

penke, the developer of the "Live Distro" of Open webOS, hasn't been on here lately that I've seen.

Here are some old threads on the live boot CD that runs over Ubuntu.

Open webOS new desktop demo

Live Distro

Open webOS iso for booting from CD
