    Hi, I`m new on this site and I have few question`s on open webOS

    1. If Open WebOS can be installed on normal Notebook/PC like Sony Vaio?
    2.If Open WebOS have application shop or this function can be add in a near time?
    3. I`m from Poland and I would like create Polish Forum concerning this OS, but first I would have permission to create this forum

    Permission from people like you, or other people`s who are admin`s or the precursors this great open source OS. I don`t know whether of my own will can create a similar site, but in my native leanguage.

    Aaaa and I want ask you something about point 1, so you say that theoretically I could install this OS but How ? Or better which hardware or computer can native support Open WebOS

    I ask because this is mobile OS not desktop

    1. Currently runs in a box under Ubuntu, though it shouldn't be hard to create a native version.
    3. Feel free to do anything you want. The question is if you'll get enough traffic to make it worthwhile.

    The only port for a non mobile device I know is the one for the raspberry pi (atm without a gui):http://www.webosnation.com/open-webo...still-needs-ui

    Wasn't there an webos boot cd image somewhere? But that's "only" the ubuntu version, right?

    Actually webOs is some services and a GUI running on top of a pretty standard linux (including 3.3 Kernel), so it should run on most stuff you can run a linux for.

    penke, the developer of the "Live Distro" of Open webOS, hasn't been on here lately that I've seen.
