While going through the bits for Open webOS on GitHub I came across an interesting bit called "MojoLoader".

https://github.com/openwebos/mojoloa.../mojoloader.js

It seems that we could theoretically copy over the Mojo library from legacy/classic and just load it using MojoLoader?

Anyone had a go at this already?

Is this "allowed" (as in legal)?
I think the mojo part of webOS wasn't open sourced...

well perhaps not for distribution, but if extracted from doctor - why not use it.

But I think the idea was for redistributing old mojo apps on openwebOS

well using mojo apps after having an mojo framework copied over to openwebos would be enough for now.
As i don't think openwebOS will be in a sellable state for endusers for the time being, we need at least the frameworks to have webos-die-hards to copy our existing apps to owo devices.
I know this will not bring any revenues for devs but those mojo app devs anyway wouldn't get anything from new owo users as long as they don't convert to enyo2 (and even then there is no catalog for owo now).

btw. i would pay for some complete rewrites in enyo2 like ClassicNote or Fuel (both free on mojo)
