Ok, it is very easy to run openwebos in virtual box. At first build openwebos. Here you can find the instructions: https://github.com/openwebos/build-w...ster/README.md
After that I have started virtualbox and I have a new entry 'Open Webos'. Thanks to the openwebos developers! |

With the hp openwebos build I did not see a new entry in Virtual Box, however there is a vmdk ( Virtual Box hard disk file ) created in build-webos/BUILD-qemux86/deploy/images/ and it works just fine in Virtual Box ( currently with 256 MB RAM ).
There should be a vbox virtual machine added with the webos ports build ( at least there is a script for it ). Last edited by Zer0C001; 02/05/2013 at 03:46 AM. |
