    Twitter / stroughtonsmith: Current status of Open webOS ...

    Apparently building for devices is pretty simple after all. Now for HP. (er, Gram...) to get us an ARM UI.

    I have the original ASUS Transformer and just ordered the new Infinity. I wonder if I'll ever be able to flash webOS onto my original....

    I have a friend with the original who would like to see that happen
    he's great at linux, he attempted porting once.

    Something tells me we're going to see a lot of webOS on "abandoned" hardware over the next couple of years. With tablets becoming an annual purchase for some there's going to be a lot of devices sitting around unused. And if the Android ROM groups have shown us anything it's that there are a lot of people who want to play!
