    (that's what I use)

It looks like building has completed! despite terminal crashing midway, it seems to have finished! *happy dance*

EDIT: something's wrong. it says failed to connect.
Something's wrong with my LunaServiceHub.. its giving me "CRITICAL" stuff in the output

    in the terminal app

in the code ./ blah blah

"./" means your home folder, thats where it starts. So if you extracted the stuff to the webos folder in your Downloads folder, you put in "./Downloads/webos"... etc
^hope it helps people, im in a rush though, sorry.

    Blah blah blah

Can someone please make open webOS run on my droid razr Maxx? Simple instructions like for installing webOS quick install and preware and webOS 2.1 on my pre plus and over clocking the cpu?

Can't wait for the home brew crew to translate all this jargon above to real world application so that somewhat technically dumb docs like me can get back into webOS.

    WebOS donations keep them up!

    there is this command: $ ./mcf -p 0 -b 0 qemux86
    I have a 4-core CPU, but I use a VM. so I have to enter 1 and 1?
because with 4 and 4 (and 1 and 1 either) it gives this. Screen Shot 2012-09-01 at 10.45.44 AM.png
    What can I do?

Yes, it has Isis. Browser app doesn't work in desktop, though, at this time.

Just finished installing this on my dual boot machine. Had a problem with the bottom of teh "tablet" getting cut off so I couldn't swith apps, etc. Just change my screen resolution to a higher reslution and problem fixed. Can't do a heck of a lot with it right now (limited functionality) but it is pretty cool anyway.

Wow... Building Open webOS on an Ubuntu Hyper-V VM
Says > "running task 407 of 3506" after 1.5 hours of building
Software amazes me. Hell I even watched the old disk optimization program in windows.
    Nahhh, I'm not a geek.

I have installed it and compiled the necessary packages and it is a very nice yet distinct enough to me, to feel like a new operating system.

yeah doing the OE build will take you many hours.

And requires at least 30gig, probably closer to 50gig free space ..

Questions for those that have managed to build and run Open webOS beta.

How is it compared to 3.0.5?
    What's the browser like?
What's missing? App cat? photos? settings?
