i thought it was just a joke at first, but it appears in my Lithium HD database. I wonder if this has been done with Asus's support?

I thought the rule was that you could only do an April Fool before noon. Even in .NL they would have been late.

That's what I thought - however the conversation that I've just had on twitter suggests that webOSinternals were having a gag at our expense.

Please someone confirm this isn't a joke. Really, that would be too cruel.

If this turns out to be a joke, I move that we hire a bunch of Aussie teens to toilet paper Rod's house from top to bottom....

Don't worry.. it's already organised!!
(Actually we were going to use a bunch of old 'Asus' packaging instead of Toilly-paper!)

I'll pitch in for the TP, where do I donate!

However, I still hold out hope that something like this happens. I read a while back that the webOS-Internals team was getting Androids running ICS.

I hope one day I will see webOS dual booting to a Galaxy Journal (on Sprint).

How is the webOS port to the Raspberry Pi going? I thought the porting schedule had the Pi then the Asus device. My Pi is shipping next week from the UK hence my curiosity.

So it's still a mystery whether it's real or just a really bad April fools joke?

I would expect better from Rod/webosinternals. We shall see.

I don't know...all I know is that I'll be royally ticked off if this is a joke, and the more it drags on the worse it'll be.

Can we at least get confirmation from someone in webOS Internals and just put this to rest? There are people on here that can get a hold of them after all - is anyone willing to make a call on our behalf?

It's an April Fools joke. Rod was playing along with webOS France. Before you say, "But webOS France just saw the same Lithium log as I did!", take note that Marc of webOS France is the developer behind Science Apps, the maker of Lithium Benchmark.

Happy April Fools, carry on with your day.
