cheese and crackers!

Thanks for clearing it up Derek. Now I'm off to find the best price for toilet paper - Do they have Sam's club or Costco in Australia?

Hi,

Thanks you Rod for jumping in my april's fool !

However, the fact this was an April fool's was written from the beginning in the article in the source link.

http://m.webosfrance.com/Un-prototype-de-tablette-Asus-embarque-une-version-beta-d-Open-webOS_a1218.html

Clicking on the source link displays wikipedia April fool's page !

Next time read carefully the source link

And as Derek mentionned, I'm behind Lithium Benchmark, so it's easy to add a fake record to the database (but it's impossible for users to do this)

Not that I believed anything anyways but as dim and grim as its gotten in webos land and considering that those of us who have championed webos for so long were played for fools by HP already this joke was not much appreciated

Just my opinion

Carry on

Was it? A good April's fool joke is generally slightly left of centre or satirical in nature - so if they had announced they were working on the WebOS toaster or that WebOS has been chosen by North Korea to run it's own locally proposed mobile phones I could buy that but when your april fool is essestionally a gag based on actually achieving part of your core mission and not actually doing that...

I find that just plain odd rather than funny but that's just me...

Hence the need for toilet paper.

One more thing...there are rules for April Fools Day? Time limits during the middle of the day (noon?) for making the practical joke? Is nothing sacred anymore?

Truth is, for some it was well deserved, and I think it was well played.

you need a "th" at the end of 1000, or an "s" at the end of POST.
(im not usually picky, but i had too.)

Maybe this being an april fools joke is the actual april fools joke, but we won't find out until September due to NDA.
