Is there a build of Perl , which has been tested on WEBOS . The expectation being to either have a version of perl which installs on webos devices like the touchpad , or , the existence of a module which can be used on any laptop , to create deployables for web for webos devices.

One older (experimental) build for playing... perl.tar.bz2

Code:
[email protected]:/opt# uname -a
Linux TP7 2.6.35-palm-tenderloin #1 SMP PREEMPT 129.3.13 armv7l GNU/Linux
[email protected]:/opt# /opt/perl/usr/bin/perl --version

This is perl 5, version 12, subversion 3 (0x223748) built for armv7l-linux-stdio

Copyright 1987-2010, Larry Wall

Perl may be copied only under the terms of either the Artistic License or the
GNU General Public License, which may be found in the Perl 5 source kit.

Complete documentation for Perl, including FAQ lists, should be found on
this system using "man perl" or "perldoc perl". If you have access to the
Internet, point your browser at http://www.perl.org/, the Perl Home Page.

[email protected]:/opt#
Note: some functionality might be missing, some (build) tests were failing ... so no guarantees
