Alright, looks like so far Ubuntu TV is a hot idea coming from CES 2012. Logically it doesnt seem like it would be too hard to have webOS on TVs. What do you all think?

internet TV needs a just type search feature that will search across channels. If webOS can do that, it would be a huge hit.

I agree. Also, having an integrated ecosystem where you can control your TV with your phone or tablet will be good for webOS. Especially as a free alternative to Apple TV.

Does anyone know if Apple TV allows one to do this? Honestly, I can't imagine that you wouldn't be able to. However, Linux would open the door for some pretty awesome features, especially some of those lacking from iOS.

But why would one choose that over the easier implementation that would be Siri? Would you rather talk or type all day?
