Default Who still uses Classic?

Here's a thread to let Palm and the rest of the community know if you are still using Classic.

I for one, still use it. I use the following applications in Classic:
Documents To Go (Dataviz)
Clock+ (Bitware Australia)
Brainforest (Ultrasoft)
Shadow (Jeff Mitchell)
Turbopass (Chapura)
Memorize! (Laridian)
MyBible (Laridian)

DateBk6 (VERY sad to see this die) and Docs to Go are the two biggies.

A bunch of smaller ones that will probably never see webOS. Hold out hope that similar apps takes their place.

I converted my SplashID records. I had a bunch too (couple hundred). It took a while (ok, a long time), but I'm not a major fan of Classic, and it takes too long.

Pleco, an amazing Chinese dictionary with lots of supplemental dictionaries and handwriting recognition. The developer has written a fantastic iPhone version, but so far has no intention of porting to the Pre and is not sure it would be profitable or even possible. However, the Palm version on Classic runs well enough for me at the moment.

Guys, could you post your results / impressions of the apps you use with Classic at Classic Well - MotionApps too? We made that place with the intention to be centralized guide for all Classic users, telling basically which apps have been checked out.

Just check if the app is already there, post your comment if it is, or add it and comment if it is not in the Well.

Appreciate your help and participating in the forums.

I use Classic, but hope devs will get me the apps I need in webOS. I use:
Documents to Go
Ultrasoft Money
BibleThumper
Tangled (a birding app)
A few others, but those 4 are important for me (and added to the well).

I haven't taken the Classic plunge yet. I'd love to, but am somewhat concerned about some of the issues I see posted in the forums. I understand that the people with complaints are the most vocal, so a forum is not always the BEST place to get a feel for a product.

My biggie is iSilo, how stable is this in the current incarnation of Classic? Don't want to waste time on the process if it's extremely slow or crash prone.

Thanks in advance

I tried Classic when I first got my Pre (June 6), but had too many problems with is crashing. I miss many of my old Centro apps (VoiceDialIt, Bible, Mileage, and being able to search calendar). Some of these have come to fruition in WebOS, but not all.

The other problem I found with trying to run some of my old programs is that they were designed for a stylus (kept inside my Centro), and finger touch wasn't precise enough.

~ MetrO, still nothing on Pre with London Tube.
~ CryptInfo, Classic adds another layer of security.
~ (Time Apart), just been replaced by DateDiffCalc on webOS
~ DateBk6, less and less. Need diary searching in webOS
~ Hotsync, to keep home & office & Pre Outlook data in sync. Just need PocketMirror to sync Pre to two PC's.

That's what I found with Smartlist to Go, so I had to find other ways to store/record info in webOS, otherwise I really like Smartlist to Go.
