I prefer the smaller Pixi buttons also. Just makes for a nicer experience. I have both the Pre and Pixi and it just looks better on the Pixi. Both versions are great though either way!

i purchased classic for my pre just after pre was available in germany and could not use it for weeks, as we had to wait for better webos (now: 1.3.5.2).
classic 2.1.2 runs ok now.
i also would prefer the pixi-buttons for navigating in classic on my pre, because the original layout doesn't look good on pre and navigation would be easier.
