Memory use patches improve Classic performance

FYI,

I applied these patches:

and aside from improving the Pre's performance in general, for the last couple of days I've been able to keep the Classic card open all the time without crashes, something I could never do before.

I'm wondering if Classic has been bumping into some memory usage problems in the current implementation of WebOS?

I've been a little hesitant to install patches; especially since waiting for WebOS 1.21, and then waiting for wosqi to get updated and prove stable. Looks like it's time to jump in.

without crashes....do you mean that classic is no longer freezing?

It still freezes sometimes, but less often. The problems are not completely eliminated, unfortunately,
