Classic with 8 bit apps = no color?

Running Classic with older 8 bit Palm OS apps seems to result in no color. This was also an issue with my older Treo 650 and 755p as well. With those I would run a freeware app called Colorize, select 8 bit and then start the app I wanted and full color would be enabled. So I tried Colorize on the Pre. Program sees to run fine but any older apps run after are still without color.

Anyone find a solution to allow 8 bit color Palm OS apps to run on Classic in color?
