Laridian MyBible works fine.
Warfare Inc.!!!!! Yes! Seems to work fine (I have no sound, think because I forgot to copy that file). To use anything but the demo mode, you need a hotsync id, and I need a space in mine (I think the default id was your first and last names, with a space...).
9.95 Chess works great. No issues so far.
Adventure seems to work, though I can't figure out how to get the keyboard working in Classic.
Benchmark works (532% relative to the Palm IIIe)
Zap!2016 v 1.71 seems to work, including the keys (can't figure out which one fires though)
World War works, but the colors are strange, and it is really hard to see which countries have armies on them.

Mocha vnc works as well. Lnchr runs but since we apprently don't have RAM access no third party launchers..
Looks like Audible doesn't work. It loads and I can see sample books. When I hit play it doesn't play. I can fast forward but hitting play doesn't get it to play. I can't get it to authenticate my user ID either. It did download the samples over the air. I also get a couple of exception errors here and there in the program. Looks like a no go for now.
text twist and bejeweled work, but with the additionally reduced screen size, it compromises the games somewhat. meteor brick breaker does not work. Pop says so.

It's working OK for me, although when I just copied over the PRCs and anything I thought was related, I obviously missed my database. DlxSudoku works. Bejeweled works. Haven't tried much else yet.
Mods can we have this as a sticky , sure alot of us will be updating this frequently and alot of people who want to know what works and does not work will be lookng for this.
This is probably a real "head scratcher" of a question (and by that I mean, "why the heck would she want this?")**, but does Blazer work...and if so, how do I get it? I didn't see it in the default apps that come w/classic.

I'm not holding my breath, but if Garmin Mobile XT and USBModem (or PDANet) work, I'm buying a Pre today, existing contract be darned!
Any programs that require files on card in a specific directory will not work.
No sound as of yet but coming soon.
lnchr actually worked but after you close the app and then reopen it sests so the setting wasnt saved.
I even tried skinUI but it didnt work. lol
some games work (not LJP) and some dont.
Kinoma works as far as media guide but doesnt see any pics/music, etc

I have a few more that I am still working on. I have found that you really have to play around with where you put the PDB files and PRC files to make them run under classic. The ROM updater tool is critical for most of the larger more complex applications
-Pocket Quicken is useless since you cant sync BUT is good if your manually inputting data.
Poeople who have PocketTunes working, can it find music stored on the Pre? I tried dumping music in various folders but they can't be found in pocket tunes
I'm trying to find an IRC application that works, that is until they make one for the Pre itself.
Tried ptpChat but can't get it to connect. :/
