It's your thread, therefore your objective and you can't muster the integrity to be an adult about it? Why not shock every reader by just spitting out what your objective is by ranting about ACORN? What comes next after they are gone?

It appears you believe you've deduced quite a lot about me, my integrity and my objectives. Would you like to tell us what you believe you've deduced and why you think my objectives would be shocking?

No need to be so shy. Micael wasn't. But that still doesn't answer the question of what you replace ACORN with. Haven't really thought it through, huh?

Shy? I'm just trying to understand what you think is going on here. Would you care to be specific?

Why are you taking issue with Micael's statement? After you've accomplished the stated goal of dismantling ACORN, what then? Who do you support to replace their efforts to register voters among the constituency ACORN previously served?

Why are you arguing with me using statements I didn't make? And why aren't you answering my inquiries about what it is you believe to have deduced about me, my integrity and my objectives? You clearly seem to have given it quite a bit of thought.

You're obviously too shy to express your desires.

This is not an academic exercise. Why not answer the direct questions before you without deflecting responsibility? Seems that would be a much more efficient use of time. IMO, of course.

If that were true then why argue at all if you have no point to argue? Unless you think you do have a point, which is what I'm asking you to provide.

Direct questions with incorrect assumptions cannot be answered as stated. That is academic. That's why its important to make sure your assumptions are correct. The only way I can do this without your cooperation is to make assumptions about your point. But that wouldn't get us anywhere, would it?

Asked and answered. Your thread. Your intent. All I've done is ask questions to determine if you have an intent and if so, what it is. You avoid a responsible answer as if it would kill you.

The question most recently asked: "Who do you support to replace their efforts to register voters among the constituency ACORN previously served?" requires no such assumptions. And the answer is . . .?

Sounds good. But, in reality, I've stated my intent for starting this thread long ago. Its still there if you'd like to look. But since you don't accept that you must think there is some other intent. What is that? And why?

Was that really the question? Or was it part of a larger loaded question?

For the record, you stated no intent, outside of an implied intent to expose the issue. Your enlightened revelation appears to rank up there with the discovery that the sky is blue. Are you the One?

Hearing black apaches hovering overhead too? Why does the question strike fear in you so?

The more people like 1thing2add type this insanity and the more liberals defend ACORN, the public option, etc...the happier I get. 1thing2add must really think that the average American is really stupid. Keep on defending ACORN. Keep on making a fool of yourself. This makes me look forward to 2010. Liberals are so happy they won the election that they feel that justifies any absurdity that they say during their leadership. They fool themselves of this so much that they lost touch with reality.

The American people are waking up. Your ridiculous defense of ACORN and your liberal friends trying to force the public option down our throats with a clear majority against it will be your demise. Keep it up. I can't wait!

Just as Kenanator stated, BILLIONS in tax-dollars are being poured into Black Water who stand accused of real crime and abuse of children, not gotcha blog-stroking. ACORN's demise won't result in any political capital for Republicans. Go for it. Dems will laugh all the way to election night success parties in 13 months since Republicans are the party of No, and nothing else. No healthcare reform plan. No net growth in jobs since 1999. Who knows? Maybe another Republican will propose Tax-Rebate checks as their stimulus proposal!

I don't know why you're getting snarky about this. I'm just asking you to explain where you're coming from. Why wouldn't you want to do that?

What part of the country is Blackwater operating in? I guess I missed that. I thought they were a private security force used in other countries. Hmm Google must be wrong. Granted I didnt read all the the links.

Oh and thats a pretty graph. I made one just like it, but I didn't want to post it. I knew someone would complain about the source of the data. Good thing I know better than to ask you for a source huh? I should just google 'pretty graphs'.

Office of the Speaker??!!! LOL...are you serious?? You have lost all credibility.

Here is a little reply that I had on another thread to answer your party of "no" mantra and your claim that no alternative plans have been offered. /thread.

"You must clearly have the same problem in recognizing things that many Democrats and liberals have. Republicans and some democrats have offered alternatives many times. You must have missed it because other than 1 cable news network it is rare that you will see these alternatives in the media. You must have missed it because like President Obama and the Democrats, you pretend there haven't been any alternatives offered by Republicans but even during the most recent address Republicans were waving their alternative plans for health care reform for millions to see (not to mention Obama). I guess you didn't see that though right?

You must also think that Americans are stupid and are not paying attention. Its what your counting on. Your hoping that maybe we are not noticing these alternative plans...most of which make way more sense than the public option that you want to sneak or force by us. Where you are wrong is that we ARE paying attention and when you pretend to not notice people offering alternatives and expect us to believe your crap you wonder why Obama's approval ratings have dropped. Why nobody believes any member of Congress. Its things like that. Keep on doing this though. This will be the demise of this way of thinking. The more insane you sound..the better. 2010 can't come soon enough!

Don't say that no alternative plans have been offered. Its insulting.

BTW..if you haven't noticed. Democrats run everything right now. AND YOU STILL CAN'T PASS THE PUBLIC OPTION. Its not just Republicans. Its the MAJORITY of people. Stop pretending. Stop fooling yourself. You look silly."

I know this isn't the health care thread but what I find interesting, and what not many people are discussing, is the poll showing that although 51% of people think the government should guarantee health care for everyone, the numbers go down to 36% if it meant their taxes would have to be raised. I find that interesting because 32% of the tax filers pay no federal income taxes. And that's not including people who don't file at all.

I'm not saying there's not overlap there. But I'm also not surprised that the amount of people who are willing to stick the cost of health care to the tax payers is pretty close to the amount of people who pay no federal income taxes at all.

It's also telling that universal health care gets a 7% favorable bump when the pollsters stated the same old lie that 46 million Americans have no health care insurance. So, no wonder they keep touting this line.

Your thread. Your intent (which goes unexpressed).

What group(s) do you want to see replace ACORN? There will most certainly be those opportunistic to fill the void. You wouldn't want to see a repeat of inappropriate or illegal behavior and be forced to post another thread. Would you?

I know you can do it. Think it through.

Black Water is paid with my tax dollars, the very point Groovy is basing his displeasure regarding ACORN. Should those BILLIONS be ended due to allegations of impropriety? Real impropriety.

Howling at the Moon again? It matters not where the chart came from as the chart was not the source of the polling numbers. Don't like it? Take it up with WSJ/NBS News, Kaiser Family Foundation, Quinnipiac, NYT/CBS News.
