-get Israel back to the size of the orignal 1947 UN Partition Plan. Countries attacked Israel and got their as$ kicked and as punishment kept their land.
-Create a barrier between Israel and arab world - like a wall? I'm for that.
-Muslim countries promise to stop supporting terrorist activities. That sure makes sense.
-West promises to stop interfering in the middle east. As long as dictators don't invade defenseless countries or others state that Israel should be wiped off the map, that's fine with me.
-Muslims stop their 'holy war'. I agree. I still don't know what 'holy war' means.
-A unpartial party (UN?) controls disputes. There is no impartial view when other countries view America and Israel, only hate and jealousy.

So now you admit the bombing were caused by the attack on iraq?

fear of retaliation should not be a showstopper, however not having a good reason to invade should..

Who is 'the enemy' btw? It sounds like the fear mongering 'us against them' philosophy to me..

Was Iraq a thread to the US? no it wasnt?
Was there a bad regime? yes there was and the UN should have dealt with it, but not the US on its own.. no country has the right to interfere with another souvereign country. That is the UN's task..

Why only go back to 1947 for Israel? They were a nation long before that
Create barriers? Not much of a world if every dispute causes barriers to built
Muslim countries go beyond stop supporting and punish terrorist in their county
The UN is not unpartial or impartial either

Isreal had the right to defend itself and did so very well, good for them! However it did not have the right to invade another country.

By holy war I mean things like you describe above, basically trying to create an islamic world by force.

Do you really believe that? do you think western europe hates the US/Israel and/or is jealous?
Maybe in the 60's-80's they were envious of the US, but those days are long gone..
To think so is arrogant at least..

Actually they became a official modern nation in 1948 based on the 1947 plan.
The 47 plan was created to give the jews a fair sized nation.

It is not a pretty sollution indeed, but a neccesary one.. hopefully in time people decide to take down this wall just like what happened in Berlin.
untill then it is a good form of containment of problems..

I agree, it is formed out of partial countries, thats why I put a ? there..
Unfortunately there is no better alternative at the momemt and countries acting on their own only makes things worse..

Maybe maybe not. I'm not as willing to take the enemy at their word as you are. They are saying what you want to hear and that which will have maximum political impact in the west.
Who is 'the enemy' btw? It sounds like the fear mongering 'us against them' philosophy to me..
Uh... Hello? The enemy (or them, if you prefer) would be the ones trying to kill as many of "us" (including you) as possible. There's not really any ambiguity here.

OK, just so I know your viewpoint. Actually Israel was a nation in 1312 BC, archeological digs confirm many dates and have Hebrew writing not Arabic text. Throughout the centuries many nations and kings have invaded Israel and you are correct in 1947 a plan was developed to divide the land, all have their opinon on fair sized nation. Today Israel only maintains a very small portion of even what was allotted in 1947. But enough of history lessons on Israel.

Who would you wall in? Some will say wall off Israel since the Arab lands are larger, some would say wall off Palestine since they are branching off of the Arab nations, some might say wall off all of the Arab nations.

Really? We actually had many things we agree on in this post! Especially if the muslim world got off their 'holy war' thing.
