    Let's compare schedules:

    LSU

    Miss State - joke
    VTech - okay
    Mid Tenn - joke
    South Carolina - okay
    Tulane - joke
    Florida - good
    Kentucky - good
    Auburn - joke
    Alabama - joke
    Louie Tech - joke
    Ole Miss - joke
    Arkansas -joke

    Cal

    Tenn - joke
    Colo State - joke
    Louie Tech - joke
    Arizona - joke
    Oregon - good
    Oregon State - joke
    UCLA - good
    Arizona State - good
    Wash State - joke
    USC - good
    Washington -okay
    Stanford - joke

USC's is similar; except they got Idaho (joke), Nebraska (good) and Notre Dame (joke).

So technically, I think USC has the tougher schedule by a hair than Cal. But both are much tougher than LSU's

Big games these next to weekend for the Tigers...

(of course, watch USC/Cal drop three state losses and be a distant memory by end of October ;-) )

Mike, these are your opinions you have offered here. What I gave you was computer ranking that are figured into the BCS. Your argument here just does not hold water. Sorry. Although I will say the PAC 10's schedule has gotten tougher over the years.

The BCS systems has a lot of problems. It basically values two things - Wins, and running up insane point totals. The weighting of team and schedules is very suspect.

I'm looking at the team based on how they look and are performing today.

Of course it's opinion. BCS is flawed "science", and is just as much opinion as anything else (except they use it for bowl determination).

I guess I'm just old school, and wish there were true playoffs.

After last weekend, I don't think anyone at Florida thinks AUburn is a joke.

Regardless I do hope your CAL makes it over USC

I wouldn't confuse Florida poor play with Auburn being that good.

Auburn played the game of the season, but they are still jokey when you look at this year.

Personally, I think Florida is overrrated, but they have the fans, media and mob money behind them :-)

Personally I think Florida teams are overrated EVERY SEASON. But I'm an old Husker fan from way back and there was never any love lost for Florida teams in Lincoln, NE.

Sooners, are cheaters, by the very definition of their name.

    From Wiki
The term Sooners was used to describe settlers who entered the Unassigned Lands, located in the current state of Oklahoma, before President Benjamin Harrison officially proclaimed them open to settlement with the Indian Appropriation Act of 1889 on March 2, 1889. The name derived from the "sooner clause" of the Indian Appropriation Act, which stated that no one should be allowed to enter and occupy the land prior to the opening time and that such people would be denied rights to illegally-claimed land.[1]

Well, how about this one then.

Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain
And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet
When the wind comes right behind the rain.
Oklahoma, Ev'ry night my honey lamb and I
Sit alone and talk and watch a hawk
Makin' lazy circles in the sky.
We know we belong to the land
And the land we belong to is grand!
    And when we say:
    Ee-ee-ow! A-yip-i-o-ee-ay!
    We're only sayin',
    You're doin' fine, Oklahoma!
    Oklahoma, O-K!
    O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A!

Only 7 National Titles. Don't hate. hahaha

The LSU/FL game had to be one of the best games I have seen in a long time. Edge of my seat for most of it. Tebow is something else, but maybe he shouldn't have taunted the crowd after scoring. But the Tigers came out in the second half and showed that they belong in the #1 spot.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!
