I don't know how much more of this I can take. I am not the type of person that can just walk around with a smile on my face when I am dying inside. The constant smirks, the fact that she is so unwilling to work with me at all...it's just beginning to take a toll on me. I'm not an angry person by nature, but I'm afraid it's becoming almost blinding. If she wants out so bad, why doesn't she just leave already? To top it all off, I am being run dry because she is no longer contributing to the bills. Paying them, at least.

I hope this never happens to any of you guys. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy...

Your problem is much bigger than Treocentral O/T. Don't think you can find help on this site.

I'm not really looking for help, just a place to vent. My lawyer is doing OK in the help area. LOL Sorry if I posted in the wrong place...there's nothing wrong with complaining about Treos in the Treo forum, I just assumed this would be Off Topic...

    Claire...Well, I am Italian
Nahh..it was just an idea I had about search engines for mobile phones. And it was easy to type. But in all seriousness, I believe the correct way to spell the slur is W.O.P. or WithOut Papers. I could be wrong though.

Actually, I stand corrected (as I threadjack my own thread)

    WOP:
This derogatory word for "an Italian" does not stand for "without papers/passport", for "working on pavement", or for "western Oriental person". It comes from Italian dialectal _guappo_ ="thug", ultimately from Latin _vappa_ = "flat wine".

My heart goes out to you, I'm the same way. I find it impossible to bury my pain. I'm sure I don't have to tell you, the one time it's crucial to control your emotions is with your daughter. I have a 3-yr old and she is much more aware than people think. She senses my moods and responds accordingly, It is important to show emotion, even sadness, but it's the explanation of why your sad and how you deal with it that your daughter will remember.

That being said, don't leave until things are settled. If your wife's name is on any of the bills she's refusing to pay, she will be responsible when you reach a settlement. Keep documentation of anything you pay that she owes. I was awarded a lump sum reimbursement for bills I paid, alimony and child support.

Vent all you want if it helps...

Man... All the best to you, and you are in my prayers...

    speaking of which-

I know annonamously venting to T/C may help a bit, but if you have a "faith community"
church or whatever, where you can trust real people to give you tangible help, a buddy to help you or get your mind off of things for a few minutes... you may want to look into it.

Not that we aren't real people, but all we can do is type encouraging messages- we can't give you moral support in a lawyer's office, or take you to a game, etc.

I hope it all works out...

In Australia they use the term WOG, does that come from the same root?

Based on my own knowledge, from Master and Commander, I would say WOG=without grog

Both WOG and WOP are derogatory terms. So unless you have a European background, you should lay off using those terms.

Can Russell Crowe use the terms WOG or WOP? I believe he is European, is he not?
