I purchased a 1G Sandisk CF card for my camera. When I tried to insert the card to format it, it would not easily insert. So I removed it and lo and behold the card bent one of the pins inside the camera.

It looks like one of the female connectors on the cf card was off slightly and bent one of the inner pin connectors.

    Anybody heard of this happening?

No. I do know that those pins are extremely soft. You might consider trying to bend it back (disclaimer...if I did it, I know I would break it.)

That being said, you might have to take it in to a place like Kitz Cameras to see if they can fix it.

Are you sure the card did it? Those cards usually only go in one way. When you feel resistance on those things your supposed to ease off
