I couldn't agree more with this. As someone who served a good chunk of my military service with the 101st Abn Div. (AASLT), had I been in Iraq when that son of a ***** fragged his comrades, at the very least, his face would have become quite aquainted with the *** end of an M16A2.

The purchase was not challenged because suppliers are not required to determine whether prospective buyers have legitimate uses for radioactive sources, nor are suppliers required to ask a buyer to produce an NRC document when purchasing in small quantities. The amount of radioactive sources GAO's investigator sought to purchase did not require an NRC document.Subsequently, the company mailed the radioactive sources to an address in Washington DC. (YOU FEEL SAFE YET)
The radiation portal monitors properly signaled the presence of radioactive material when two teams of investigators conducted simultaneous border crossings. Our investigator's vehicles were inspected in accordance with most of the CBP policy at both northern and southern borders. However.GAO's investigators, using counterfeit documents, were able to enter the US with enough radioactive sources in the trucks of their vehicles to make two dirty bombs.According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a dirty bomb is a mix of explosives, such as dynamite, with radioactive power or pellets. When the dynamite or other explosives are set off,the blast carries radioactive material into the surrounding area. The direct costs of cleanup and indirect losses in trade and business areas could be large. Hence, dirty bombs are generally considered to be weapons of mass disruption instead of weapons of mass destruction. GAO investigators were able to successfully represent as employess of a fictitious company present a counterfeit bill of lading and a counterfeit NRC docment during the secondary inspections at both locations. The CBP inspectors never questioned the authenticity of the investigators' counterfeit bill of lading or the counterfeit NRC document authorizing them to recieve, acquire, possess, and transfer radioactive sources.

So to summarize this poll: apparently the biggest threat to the USA is: cohabitating couples of the same gender who don't particularly covet guns and assemble their opinions without wholesale inhaling of "news" slanted to reflect the selfish goals of a right-wing Australian corporate multibillionaire.

Oh yeah - while we all are being divided and conquered by our obsessive ignorance, prejudice and oneupsmanship - global warming threatens everything we cherish and more. Not sure who or what you plan to bomb, kill, maim or destroy to keep that threat away, but maybe you can feel self-satisfied as the French, Iranian, Chinese, Mexican and Canadian children are and will likely be suffering as gravely as your own.

Maybe if you get enough of that $1.99 GM gas into your Hummer you can push the obvious out of your mind a little bit longer and continue to feel aloof enough to blame the "other" for problems you play a part in. Go ahead - kill everything you don't understand. If you manage to do it in Jesus' name, you get extra points/virgins.
