    I really dislike this guy and his slandering of other people. He claims all the time that 'smear merchants are after him'. True maybe he doesn't deserve some of the things said about him, but in the same light he does need to be called out on his falsehoods. With his ratings hemmoraging viewers I was wondering, what some of your all's opinions are of the guy that sits in 'the spin zone'.

    edit: Well an extra r crept in there and I can't change the title.

    I didnt vote because there were only two choices.

    I actually like listening to his show...IMHO he is a little too conservative but he asks some heavy questions from time to time.

    (I hate it when that R button slips in there.) ;-)
    Palm III-->Palm IIIxe-->Palm 505-->Samsung i300-->Treo 600-->PPC 6600-->Treo 650-->Treo 700wx-->BB Pearl--> BB Curve

    Voted that he's a stand up guy because I can't say he's full of s*** but actually feel he's somewhere in between the 2 choices.
  5. #5

    How bout' him saying he was innocent of the charges of sexual harassment and he was going to take it all the way to court. Sure enough a week or two later the lady says she has tapes of him and bam Bill O is $8 Million lighter in the wallet .

    Or how bout his one?

    From the February 7 edition of MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann:

    OLBERMANN: We segue now into our nightly roundup of celebrity and entertainment news, "Keeping Tabs." And it turns out the 2005 Super Bowl was not entirely scandal-free. This year's wasn't about the commercials, the halftime show or even the Philadelphia Eagles' pathetic clock management. It was about the Super Bowl program and Bill O'Reilly. The Fact or Fiction host and noted loofah user wrote the so-called end piece of the score card sold at yesterday's little game. He waxed poetic about the inspiration that his own football career at Marist College in New York provided observing that he once punted a ball backwards. But that, quoting here, "I won the national punting title for my division as a senior." O'Reilly concludes that "I guess you could say the end zone was the beginning of the no-spin zone."

    But Mr. O'Reilly has done a little spinning of his own here. Others might call it resume padding. The football office at Marist told me today that football was not a varsity sport there until 1978 -- seven years after O'Reilly graduated. When he played, it was a so-called club sport where players paid all their own expenses, and schedules and, most importantly, statistical record keeping were haphazard.

    So when he says he was the top punter in his division in the country in 1970, it does not mean what it sounds like. He was not in the NCAA Division I or II or the smaller-college NAIA Division I or Division II. O'Reilly in Marist played in something called the National Club Football Association. So writing in the Super Bowl program that you won the punting championship in your division would be like me writing in one of my articles in one of the World Series programs that I led the nation's high school baseball players in on-base percentage in 1973.

    I did, too. My on-base percentage that season was 1,000. I came to bat once and got hit in the backside with a pitch.

    I will continue to watch him so you don't have to. You know to keep him looking out. 'Whos looking out for you' Bill.

    I want to slap him up the side of the head when he talks about other people who have been acccused of sexual misdeeds when he himself in the last year had his own phone trist and sexual harrassment of the producer who worked on the Factor and he had to pay her off to the tune of $$Millions. Maybe some prosecutor along the East coast should look into that a little further.

    Now, ifyou want to have fun turn to CNN Headline News and watchNancy Grace for 5 minutes some night then every one else including Uncle Bill looks like a saint compared to that witch. In fact Sean Hannity looks like a good guy compared to her.

    I think it was Jenna Jameson he had on one evening and was bashing the porn industry during the show. Afterwards he asked her if he could get her autograph and some of her videos. There were several witnesses there when he asked. He says it was just something like professional courtesy for him to ask. I'm trying to find the article that talked about this show.

    Why would he have her on there otherwise?

    Exactly, I do watch him at times just for the laugh. But, he's so full of himself that I guess that's why what he states is generally full of s**t!

    I don't see why you are getting so wound up about ORielly. So he's opinionated, big deal. So is everyone on else trying to make a name for himself/herself. I used to watch his show, and now I don't - because I lost interest. Not because I love the guy or hate his guts or whatever.
    Palm V-->Visor Deluxe-->Visor Prism-->Visorphone-->Treo 180-->Treo 600-->Treo 650 on Sprint-->Treo 700p-->Centro-->Diamond-->Pre-->HTC EVO 4g???!

    I don't think anyone is really getting "wound up" about him. Some of us just think it's hilarious that some seem to think that what he says is gold. When in fact if you watch the show, if what a guest has to say does not agree with him he is quick to interupt and not let them finish. Granted, I have watched several shows and thought his side of the story is what I also agree with. But, as far as "Fair and Balanced", I don't think so.

    Fair enough JohnH. I guess I was responding more to the "I really dislike this guy" and the "I want to slap him up the side of the head" comments.
