That is all part of his act so we will misunderestimate him. I would have to check with him on this for spelling.

I think what we have here with the manipulation of facts coerced via the office of special planning (OSP) which was/is headed by Douglas Feith (member of the PNAC) and some instructions from Bush to make a story fit to Saddam. Nevermind all that, I could go on for while, but the point is Bush knew the intel was flawed/cooked up. This in of itself a serious reason for concern.

Bush isn't acting dumb, really, he is only doing other peoples work, all politicians have done this throughout history.

What peoples work? I would assume you are NOT talking about the american people. Because with this memo comes proof that Dubya has done the American people a great disservice and ruined any shred of honor he might have once had.

All because Bush and his buddies at the PNAC had a hard on to overthrow Saddam. And all you can do is yawn? Incredible.
So now it's changed from your thread title of "Did Bush" to your statement above - bit of a leap don't you think?

I take it now you're stating the above as fact? ( and yes i see the $ amount and number of casualties as fact)

Hmmmm, that's an interesting take on how to view dissenting opinions. I wonder how you'd feel if he felt better to not claim you, and had the INS just pack you up and move you to the socialist country of your choice. Or if I won't claim you as a fellow Nole because I'm not proud of you.

Luckily for you, it doesn't work that way. He is your President, whether or not you voted for him.

Hmmm. Is this document not fact enough for you to cause some concern or does it need to happen right in front of you to believe it? Why oh why do some of you folks blindy support Bush.

Why has always got to be socialist this and socialist that with you folks. I live here, I love my country, but I will not support lying and cheating as that are seen in this President.

I could care less about you claiming me as fellow Nole, I don't need your reassurance.

Unfortunately it does work out to where he is my President whether I like it or not. I just don't support most of his policies. Because most of his policies focus on scratching one of his buddies backs and not what is necessarily good for this country.

The phrase is "couldn't care less". If you could care less, then you care. At least try to use it correctly if you're going to make a point.

And you not caring about what I think I'm sure is on par with Bush not caring what you think, or whether or not you're proud of him, or whether or not you "claim" him as your President. I'm sure he COULDN'T care less.

I'm sure he doesn't, he doesn't seem to care unless you have something to offer him.

This is not new to GWB. All politicians operate this way.

Are you sure? There seem to be a few people in this board who really think that alleged political indescretion started with GWB.

This when we start heading towards a corporate state and I want nothing to do with it. We should get back to politicos caring about the people who elected them and not how much money you put in their coffers.

We should go back to part time politicians like it was for 150 years. Why the Hell they need to sit in session throughout the year makes no sense. Pass a budget, maybe debate a new bill here and there, and GO HOME!!

Oh wait, steroids and Schiavo...important issues that need Government intervention.

You fear the corporate state, I fear the state.

They are rapidly becoming one and the same.

I think the perception that Bush 'encourages' is exactly what he wants you to think.
