my little girl just left to go to school, shes 3. we have been letting her put on her own shoes lately (no laces) cause it makes her feel like a big girl. well anyway to make a long story short. her shoes were on the wrong feet so i told her just that "baby your shoes are on the wrong feet", no response she just looked at me, again i said "baby your shoes are on the wrong feet". my little 3yr old girl looks at me and says "daddy, these are the only feet i have" i damn near pissed my pants.

    just thought i would share

I think if you would have said "The Funniest Things Treos Say", it would've been okay.

A great story, told many times...

There about four pages of google results on this one. Does this mean all kids are the same world-wide?

i read over some of those google searches and i got to thinking. i guess thats a logical response. lots of words have double or triple meaning, and when your that young i guess you havent quite got that down yet. i didnt know the joy of kids until i had my little girl. now i smile everyday about some little cute stuff she does. thanks for sharing this moment.

i gotta show my wife some of these google searchs, thats should tickle her that a lot of kids say that.

Matthew, i thought it was cute that my little girl said this. why would i misled you? I only lie (i am assuming this is what u r sayin) to get out of trouble. and unless you are the police or a jahovahs witness i have no reason to lie(misled) you.

franko, i don't think you lied - from the google search, it just remarkable how many kids appear to say that same thing!

It was a cute post!! I think he might have been teasing you due to all of the references to searching before posting lately

Actually, lots of kids do say it because they grasp only the concrete concept of their own 2 feet rather than the concepts of left & right. To them, as long as both shoes are on both feet, it's right.

Mine also went through the "You can't see me" phase when they would cover their eyes & thought that since they couldn't see me, therefore I couldn't see them.
