Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera?

Yes please. I'll take one. It's under a grand _with_ the lens.

Now if I can just figure out how to pay for the camera and keep buying things for my lovely T650.
My dog is always hungry! He's like an eating machine. The Eating 650 with blue tooth.

I am, since my friend just bought one and I can buy his 'old' rebel/300D from him for a reasonable price

He is as much a gadget freak as I but with a bigger budget.. and really carefull with his gear so I can get an 'as good as new' camera for half the money

    Sweet!

You're lucky. If I get the new XT I'm keeping my 300D so I can have a zoom and a wide angle ready to go at the same time. Do I _need_ two? No, but it sure would be cool.

looks pretty nice. But It's been a long time since I used a camera. Back when digital was just starting to come to the market. So I know everything is supposed to be easier with the new digital ones but the thing I like about old fgashioned cameras were I could use different films to get different looks. I liked Tri-x & T-max, etc. Well is there some program that will automatically give this exact look? I'm not talking about adjusting contrast, etc in photoshop either. Also Is 6 megapixelas enough? ABout how big of a picture could I print while keeping detail with that megapixel size? Is there somechart that will give me megapixel to print size ratio I could refernece? Thanx!

Dang! That's a chunky camera. I like my shirtpocket PowerShot from Canon. I really don't have a need for a "pro" model. BUT, it's a nice price for someone looking for a higher-end camera.

I'm psyched about my 20D that should be arriving next week. Thanks to a Dell 25% off sale error they made this past weekend, I picked it up for $1112 shipped.

Anyone interested in a mint Canon 10D, PM me.

I've got one of the original Ixus'es as well, great for bars, parties etc. easy to slip in a pocket..
    But the functionality is limited..

The new Canon is the first camera to really pique my interest since I got my Minolta Dimage 7i a few years back. I think I have enough self control to not get it.

I thought you'd be welcoming bids that boost the price...
