In holland I found a shop that carries imported games, haven`t found one it the UK yet.
But you can buy them online.
I got mine (and ape escape) through my friend who brought the actual PSP.
The official channels open in September..

Pretty cool deal here... Axshop is giving away free PSP screen protectors for the first 1000 orders.

    https://www.axshop.com/free-psp-offer/

You just gotta pay for the $2.95 shipping. The brand is Monifilm. Never heard of them so I'm not sure how great of a quality these protectors are.

I had to choose bbetween the Treo or the PSP. I couldn't afford both. I wisely chose the Treo, though I still feel pangs of jealousy when I see someone pull out there PSP
    Palm IIIe -> Visor Deluxe -> Palm 505 -> Clie tj37 -> Treo 600 -> Treo 700P

Has anybody got these homebrew things to work?

I just downgraded from 2.0 to 1.5 but can't get much to work yet

ToolkiT, my friend has a PSP and I've played around on his (which has been downgraded to 1.5 as well). He has a bunch of emulators which work rather well, some homebrewed game, and other apps which escape my mind. It's pretty nifty and very slick, but I'd never trade my DS for it, esp not after playing the Castlevania game which just came out

Can you ask him for a list of programs that work on his PSP 1.5?

I get the feeling a lot of stuff is for the PSP 1.0...

It took me a lot of tries with my 1.5 store bought machine to get a homebrew that worked. It seems like I tried about half a dozen different downloads before I finally stumbled on one that worked.

There is a lot of info out there, but much of it assumes you know what and how, if you don't it can be very daunting.

Try File Assistant, it is a straight forward file manager that only requires you to copy the two directories to your PSP/GAMES folder.

Also, one last tip. Much homebrew requires you to fix the eboot file before you can load it on your PSP, a problem I had for a few of my failed tries was loading these unconverted on my machine, they of course failed and left me feeling stupid.

There are pre-compiled downloads of homebrews out there for both 1.0 and 1.5 machines, look around and you will finally get one that works.

Now that I have been successful it was a no-brainer to stay with 1.5 on my machine. I have some .iso's (of games I own the UMD for) that I can fit on my 1gig card and carry three or four games on just my raw PSP, it is great. No UMD switching, no carrying around a bunch of UMD's. Very nice.

    Good Luck
