speaking of substance, what do you think a fake/scripted town hall meeting would be? free of rhetoric and propaganda, or consisting of just that?

Here's the reason Bush didn't do the town hall meeting link.

Here's a quote from a Jermin (Paris Hilton's spelling)..."I'm disgusted by the war in Iraq Bush started that has cost thousands of civilian lives," said Thomas Odenweller, 49, a computer technician. "Now he's trying to normalize relations with Europe. It must be stopped."

    'It must be stopped'

This is a liberals greatest fear, America having good relations with Europe.

Liberals are running out of friends.

Looks like "Old Europe" and the US are thawing the icy relations that have been around for the last several years...

That only leaves Islamo-Terrorists, Iran and North Korea as their only friends with whom they can rely on to agree with them....

This is exactly my point, he's hated in Germany so why agree to have a 'Town Hall Mtg'? He knew they all wanted to throw eggs at him, so why agree to do it, then back out (like a coward)?

You sound like an extremist! And a confused one at that. Can't you see that the Germans don't like him because of his terrible policies? How do you figure the 'Liberals are running out of friends' when it seems to me that the Germans are on the side of 'Liberals/Common Sense?'

I guess he wanted to be more productive meeting with leaders of the world than answering why he isn't saving the red comanche worm.

Policies that have freed two countries in 3 years. How many countries has Germany freed in 300 years? Answer: Zero, however they have taken freedom away from several that we helped liberate in WW II. Germany got no hand on us.

With free and successful democratic elections in both Afghanistan and Iraq, these liberal European leaders are realizing our policies have worked, and they better hop on aboard. Look who's changing, coming around! Bush hasn't changed policies, the Euros are all of the sudden welcoming Bush with welcome arms.

Liberal Media at it again. Here's a photo from USA Today, check out how they cropped the word 'Brat' above Bush.

The link with the photo has already been changed. How childish. Do they really think this helps the liberal cause? Yeah, this really makes me want to vote for Hillaray in '08.

You probably think the Wall Street Journal is Liberal also. If it's not Rush or Sean you guys think it's Liberal.

True. How bout some others though, Ann Coulter, David Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, George Will.. not that many. It's us against the world. It's amazing conservatives keep winning even though the majority of the world's media is so slanted. Thank God for smart people!

    You are kidding right?
Just ask the average 'euro' (assuming you are not refering to the coins ) and you'll find that they won't welcome Bush with welcome arms...

Bush is not popular outside of the US and 'free and successful democratic elections in both Afghanistan and Iraq' did not change that..
I think your view of those elections is quite different than how the rest of the world feels about them..

Who cares about what the rest of the world thinks...I think it's more of what the peeps of Iraq and Afghanistan think of their fledgling democracies.

    Apperantly treosixoo does.

But what do the people in iraq and afganistan really think about it?
I'm pretty sure they have mixed emotions about it..

I was specifically speaking of the leaders of the Euro countries, not the average Jacque, Simon or Augustus or yours. The leaders have seen the light and have begun to change their tune.
