Just wanted to see if anyone out there has tried, and particularly had any very positive or very negative experience with, any type of CD surface repair device/solution/etc. I have a few audio CDs and some older video games (Dreamcast and Saturn) that look like they've been used as sanding discs (thanks, kids).

Any feedback is welcome and appreciated, even the "Stay away from brand X" suggestions.

    Thanks in advance.

I use GameDr all the time. My 6 yr old is hard on the coasters

I have had about a 99% recovery rate.

From Digital Innovations. Thanks for the reply.

Do you have the hand-crank model or the electric one?

I have the hand crank model. I use for any cd, dvd, game, etc..
It doesn't fix "gouges" but scratches have been repaired just fine. There have been a couple that I needed to repeat the repair process to get it fixed.
