    Everyday I make my Index.dat file a read only file so that cookies do not show up on my C:\ drive. At the end on the day I return the Index.dat file back to a writeable file, I do this everyday. I also delete the history in the left hand column of MS Internet Explorer so the sites I've been are no longer shown. Is this the only ways (software or other) that they can track my useage and what sites I go to? What other things can I do to stop them from seeing what I look at on the net?

    No, the porn sites are blocked by the Corporate guys in black suites. They block "Adult Content" and "Internet Auctions" so no ebay either.

    It seems to me that if you are worried what people would say or think about what you are doing then maybe you should not be doing it. After all it is the companies resource you are misusing.
    Palm Pilot -> Palm 505 -> Palm Vii-> Ipaq 3670 -> Nokia 6800 ->Treo 600 -> Treo 650 Unlocked GSM

    It has been determined/researched that empoyees who work an 8 hour day only really works 6 of those 8 hours. So yes I do my share of 2 hours of play. Is it misuse, not really I'm at the national average.

    Excuse me? Do teachers get paid for hours of grading at home? For hours of conferences with parents and endless phone calls? For eating lunch with students? For forfeiting prep time due to emergency calls?

    Almost all salaried employees work OT and don't get paid for it...so don't take it personally. I work through lunch or nights or weekends all the time and don't expect anything back for it.

    Not that kind of engineer. A real engineer as P.E type. However a Z train is never late.

    Yep its called a salary!

    And I am sure the countless summer hours (or breaks if you have yr round school) more than outway any personal hours spent during the reg school schedule.

    Let's see....in the classroom at 6:30 a.m., 20 minutes for lunch, out the door at 4:30-5, depending on how many students stay for help, makeup work, or the conversation they should be having with a parent if they had a parent. Maybe you get your prep/planning period, maybe you don't cause of the teacher down the hall who was sick so you have to cover her class, or the fight in the cafeteria/parking lot requiring police/baby sitting duty. Summers? Oh, you mean the time when teachers have to attend classes to stay certified (at their own expense, of course), sit on curriculum/textbook committees, and do professional development. The summer before last I had two full weeks of summer vacation.
