I saw a lady with a bumper sticker yesterday that said "Frodo failed: Bush got the ring!"

PLEASE keep thinking this way....the republicans will keep winning. The attitude that Blames everyone else for Kerry's loss is what is going to keep the liberals in continued denial...change or die as a party

let's keep thinking america is evil. let's keep demeaning all the people who supported bush. let's not come up with any real constructive plans for america, let's simply tear down the adminsitration that's in place.
and as we insult everyone, we will ask for their votes.

these attitudes are the reason why democrats lost. and as long as these attitudes are continued, the republicans will have nothing to fear from the democrats ever - they will sabotage and defeat themselves.

Well the fact remains that Bush has to involve 48% of the people that fundementally think the right had the wrong idea. Obviously we'll have to meet in the center using compromise to go forward. But the funny thing is this admin won4

But the funny thing is this admin won't. So with the repubs in control of the white house, house and senate, and 4 years, the quality of life BETTER improve and the budget deficit, BETTER decrease. If it doesn't what will the excuse be?. One thing is certain, that's a Hell of a mandate. Sorry for the duplicate post, posting from the Treo

If you want to start handing out the Brown Shirts you go right ahead. If the Dems move more to the Right then this Country loses. And a 2% loss is hardly a mandate nor a sign to the Democratic party that it needs to change it's positions. This counttry is split right now, and given the fact that upwards of 30% of Bush voters believed at the time of the election that Hussein was involved in the 9-11 attacks it doesn't matter WHAT the Dems change to, some people are just dumb.

Dems need to now use their wallets to support the groups which will take up their fight, the ACLU, Liberal lobbying groups, etc.

Rossnari: Very funny. Made my day.

Treobk: Jesus H. Christ, man, get a sense of humor! Are you so insecure about your chosen president you don't think he can weather a joke or 2... or 200,000?

The Demos will continue to lose as long as they are unwilling to acknowledge reasonable differences of opinions.

The fact a site like this exists in the first place says a lot.

Well said, bk, and the lack of positive thinking from the dems right now is simply astounding given their self-perception as the party of progress and optimism. I hold out that after a period of stunned bickering and bloviating, good leadership will eventually emerge and perhaps bring with it a message that may actually persuade someone of something- a feat sorely lacking in the elections of 2004.

    Well put clairegrrl.

While I am happy with the outcome of the election I am really disheartened by the intolerant reaction of those who did not have the election go there way. This is not the America I grew up in. I cannot recall a time when conservatives have reacted towards the other side with such animosity in the wake of a political loss. We on the right have always acknowledged the victors, licked our wounds, moved on to work with the hand dealt to us and looked forward to the next opportunity this great country gives us, the average citizen, to influence the direction of that it should go.

I just don't have words to express how embarrassed I am to see my fellow Americans, who like me are steeped in our democratic process, lose with so little grace.

Those on that website who feel compelled to apologize to the rest of the world for the outcome of our elections have put ideology ahead of country not to mention the disrespect they pay to nearly 60 million of their fellow Americans.

I am beginning to take the insults personally.

Nope, not the America I thought I was living in.

I completely agree. In a way, I feel like the real war isn't "out there." It's right here at home.

I'm afraid you are right but I also am afraid the bush gov. is partly to blame for it because of their 'with us or against us' attitude...
Hopefully in the next 4 years people will get closer together instead of being polarized...

Sorry, but that has been covered in great detail before. It's pretty offensive, and will just help to continue the division that exists.
