It's also quite interesting that some anchors were wearing all-black after the election

It was also interesting that Bush had a strange object under his jacket, does it mean anything though?

What does that have to do with media bias, the topic of this thread?

Media bias isn't a conpiracy, it's a known fact. That's why Fox News coverage on election night was something like 3 times higher than both CNN and MSNBC combined. People are tired of seeing a leftward slant whenever they watch the news.

I think that is a very simplistic way of looking at it..
first of all Fox is just as biased as CNN, just different side..
Second of all I doubt it that political bias is what drive people to watch a certain channel..

If Fox is so Biased- why do they always put both sides on? On just about every topic they allow both sides to discuss what they beleive in. I couldn't disagree with you more. Now Cnn- just put's their slant on it and thats it.

To be honest I have to go by heresay on this one (cant receive Fox here) so I'll have to believe you on this one..

But as stated before, allmost all media are more or less biased. BBC is slightly leftwing but also tries very hard to give both sides a chance to tell their story..

I'm no expert on the BBC, as I don't watch it much, especially since the Lord Hutton fiasco. However, the BBC seems to be savagely anti-Bush in virtually all of it's coverage.

As to the BBC being slightly leftwing, I guess that depends upon which political spectrum you are comparing it with. In the US, the BBC would be far to the left of CNN. In the UK, I suppose the BBC lands more toward the middle.

Agreed. The good organizations have bias, but still try to be fair.

Your moderation style is selective and you did ignore the post in question. Only after it was pointed out to Toolkit was action taken.

    Do I win? I found a post.

Anyway, to keep this on topic, please respond to this in this thread: http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...ad.php?t=61417

This is sort of off the path here but I didnt feel like PM ing this.

Eurokitty, With some jumping around and looking I was able to read all your discussion with Kramsauer and finally see the post where Toolkit commented about my post regarding you and your job.

Let me say the thread with just you and Kurt was great fun. I especially liked the part where you called me a notoriously abusive poster. Thanks, I never knew you cared so much.

Seriously though I wanted to clarify something, and offer an apology. Now dont get too excited. It isnt an apology for saying what I said. It is for saying it in such a way as you took it as an attack. I really wonder if there is a way to make a comment you wont take as one, but thats another post for another time.

I was not suggesting that you are not good at your job. How would I know? Never seen you work. I couldnt guess whether or not you are. I can assume because of the passion you show here that if you work with that kind of passion you very likely are good at what you do.

I was asking a question about your state of mind in relation to the people you treat. Here in the forum you are vehemently anti-republican and have made some very nasty remarks about the President and republicans in general, as well as Christian fundamentalists. With that in mind I was musing about whether or not you could objectively give the same care to a republican soldier as you would to a democratic one. I wondered that because in the work place many many people are unable to detach themselves from their political viewpoint. Especially the ones who are so openly political as you seem to be.

I was refering to this post when I spoke of your hatred http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...65&postcount=1

Someone who sounds rather irrational and just a tad too close to the edge is not someone I would seek service from in a medical facility, or any other workplace for that matter. ( That is a genral statement, please dont go off about an attack)

Kurt was able to see the intent of my post and clearly you were not. It was NOT a personal attack. I am sorry if you took it that way.

Sorry Woof, but I do not accept your apology. You have attacked me since the first day I began posting here and you've been warned more than once to stop by the Moderators here. I do not seek out your posts, and the majority of the time when you attack me, I ignore you. You look for my posts purposely and attack. You've even gone so far as to post veiled messages about visiting me at my job and hunting for my personal information in my published academic papers. You also have no business speculating about what I do in my job or HOW I do it. You don't have any idea about the kind of pain and carnage I see on a daily basis. To THINK that you might have any idea about what is going on is a complete insult to the the people it is happening to and the people who are trying to make it better. Please do not address me on this forum AGAIN. Internet stalking and harassment is now a crime in our State and I do have recourse.

To the general posting public (since I am no longer allowed to address certain people directly):

Although there may be those of you that disagree, I am not attacking anyone here. I am at worst disagreeing. Some of you can see that and some of you can not. Ah the lovely world of personal perception.

If any of you lawyer types know anything about interent stalking laws would you mind posting some links here so we can see if mutual participation and quoting of a post can be considered stalking.

Moderators would you mind chiming in on any of this. I am particularly curious about making threats against other people. Is this allowed in the forum?

Back to topic. CNN has plenty of leftwing bias.
