4 more years stuck in the Iraq quagmire they started

4 more years of a falling dollar until all imports cost 4x what they do today

4 more years of increasing oil prices until the back of the American economy is broken

4 more years of country after country becoming our enemy as the people vote out anyone who voted to work with the Americans

4 more years of restrictions on non-Christian religion and freedom of speech

4 more years of increased government spending and taxes (except for Corporations that move jobs outside of the US)

yes, it will be a glorious time for the republicans as they stand in the fire they created themselves -and the rest of us watch them burn in it.

So, for the Democrats, just do the following:

    1. Be happy it is their problem and not ours. We are absolved of any responsibility for Iraq, the economy or any other problems

    2. Complain at will. Everything is their fault, because it is. We can't do anything about it.

    3. Move your money offshore so the coming collapse of the American economy doesn't affect you

    4. If you have a company, outsource all the jobs (or any Republicans would take)

    5. Sign up for government funding and start a church for fun. You'll make lots of money.

    6. Sit back and relax. Watch it all burn down. They created it, watch them deal with it.

Watch the lemmings follow their ***** off the cliff. Even though Kerry did bring out the idealist in me, I just don't feel too disappointed tonight.

With all of the sh*t that's going to rain down on America from now on, I'm glad that Republicans will bear the burden, and even more glad that it's the right wing fundie Repubs. It would be nice if we could get rid of fundamentalist Christianity in government once and for all in this country. Now there's a chance we will, just not right away.

So gloat away, people. Every dog has his day. I'll just continue to look disabled Vets in the eye that I work with every day and know I tried.

The venomous bile contained in your post probably says a lot about why your side couldn't persuade a majority. I hope the Democrats rethink whether this is really the right approach.

kitty if what you said is true, why is it that nearly all demcrats, EVEN DASCHLE, are being removed?

does this say america is very dissatisfied with the democratic party? I think so.

you try to pontificate from a soapbox, but do you really have one now, fewer and fewer people are supporting your viewpoint anymore.
even in the time of war, your party could not inseat bush. if all these glaring dangers were so evident, wouldn't america's choice reflect the peoples' opinion of that climate if it were true?

nice try at least. try accepting defeat rather than making excuses for it.

this type of venom is the reason why I take SO much pleasure in bush's victory, bc I see how nasty dems were, and how full of sour grapes they are when things don't go their way.

4 more years baby, now that IS GOOD NEWS!!!!!

In all respect to each party. We who voted, all voted our conscious. Be it Republican or Democratic. Now let's be adults about the outcome.

Personally, I feel our country is in a delicate situation with faultering world support from our international neighbors, not to mention our disaterous situation in Iraq. Mr. Bush needs a united America and since this is where we live, then let's try and make the best of things. Because we really do have more class than that.... Don't we.

P.S. Yeah, I voted for Kerry.

Bush has taken advantage of the less intelligent sector of America. He has convinced them to be scared AND that his fiscal policies favor the "small business owner". This is just not true.

Why do any of you right-wingers think that majority=correct ? There is nothing that would supoport this argument, and is representative of the kind of flawed thinking that got us in the mess we're in. I mean, Hitler was extremely popular in Germany, but did he help his country in the end ?

I'm with EK. The country is now in the hands of the majority; idiots. I quote the CEO of the Rand corporation: "If Bush is allowed to continue his domestic, financial policy, America will be a third world country inside of 10 years". These aren't my words, but those of someone who understands the US economy much better than I do.

Go ahead and flame me as a whiner. We can all come back and have this conversation a few years in the future to see who was right and who was wrong.

Anyone who disagrees with you is an *****? The U.S. is going to be a third world country in 10 years? Yes, let's do come back in a few years. Maybe you will have developed some maturity and wisdom by then.

If you guys want to understand why you lost this election, you really don't need to look any further than comments like these. You don't pursuade people with hatred and contempt.

Voting is 1 thing, the other thing is get active in the politics system and try to actually change things.
Just complaining gets us in the same spot in 4 years again and the saga keeps continuing...

And I agree neither candidate was really worth it...and with the current system I'm afraid we'll keep getting poor candidates..

Also I think Bush used just as much hatred and contempt as Kerry, if not more..

But wouldn't that sound like whining? The conservative response is: if you are dissatisfied with the Treo 650, buy the competition. Or, better yet, start your own business, build a better mousetrap and retire rich.

But, then again, that wouldn't be fair to all those whiners who weren't smart enough/motivated enough to do this, so let's all mire in mediocrity and remove any incentive to excel. That, Eurokitty, is what life under a liberal mindset would bring.

i am sick of hearing the complaining. If bush wins, the majority of americans wanted that. instead of complaining about everything, you think the democrats would just be concerned with fixing thier image. the longer they push ohio, the worse they will look.

Did anyone expect anything different from Eurokitty? Get over it and move on (btw, I guess moveon.org and the George Soros crowd has some reflecting to do...seems like Bush did better this election than the last one...doesn't look like he got his money's worth for all the millions he spent).

I think liberals all over the world have left us weaker and vulnerable to terror. These intellectual giants demand your undivided attention so their message of prejudice and poison, disguised as considered and reasoned "concern" for everyone's welfare, can be fed to unsuspecting Americans.

Unless we begin to accept reality and regard contemporary liberalism and its advocates as "wrong then, wrong now", we do little but recycle poverty, prejudice, and greed. Their term as guardians of the American process will be ultimately graded as failures as long as we continue to allow diminished expectation and marginal performance to be the standard.
Liberals demand failure, low esteem, and phony misery, without it, they cease to be effective. Every day, more and more Americans are waking up to the fact that the Democrat Party has been hijacked by narrow-minded zealots whose only allegiance is to themselves.
