Got anything to back up that claim?

Go ahead and slam my statements. I expected that most of you would. I stand behind them. I will NOT assimiliate myself OR my values to anything this Administration does. Bush did not win the State I live in, nor did he win the entire COAST where I live either. Freedom of speech still exists for now, and I don't plan to stop exercising my right. Go ahead and attack me personally if it makes you feel better. I can sleep at night knowing that I did not support the nightmare that is this Administration.

All you have to do is look at Eurokitty's comments and KKenna's comments, and then compare them to every moveon rally, every Hollywood political gathering, every Democrat-supporting entertainer who wants to inject himself/herself into the campaign, etc. It's all the same; Bush is a moron, Bush is evil, Bush is destroying the world, Bush supporters are right wing idiots, and so on. There has been no comparable level of vitriol on the other side, and hate is not a message.

From reading the comments in this thread, I think that my point is being proven quite nicely.

I also have to laugh: Republicans have been some of the worst mudslingers and hatemongers in history! REMINDER: your boy Bush did NOT win by a landslide. Nearly half the country voted against him, so I am not some radical minority. I am just the only person on this board with the backbone to come here and face it.

It happens on both sides, just look at the frankenstein pics of Kerry. Also Bush' campain has been mongering fear, and we all know how closely fear and hatred are related..

America was not founded with the intent for it to be a theocracy. And guess what? You don't have to like my opinions. If you don't like what I have to say, don't read my posts. I know you and your cronies would sure like to limit free speech, but until that happens, I will not stop voicing my opinions here or anywhere else.

Just curious. How exactly do you propose to rid the country of fundamental Christians?

Gee thats the easy way out isnt it, you make a claim based on nothing and when somebody asks you to explain you bail out using a lame exuse...

I wonder how you would react if say eurokitty said she thinks all republican girls from boulder are unmoral idiots and refuses to back it up 'because it is her opion'.

Sure you can have your opion, but without anything to back it up it sounds like nonsense...

bill clinton did nothing to help kerry's cause.

    hillary in 2008? hell no.

I hardly think her steely scary tone of voice will engender popular support.

if giuliani runs, he'll sweep it from her.
but that is for another day.
this current victory is one for the ages.
and kitty, it appears your values are among the minority. I won't attack you, but I WILL point out that the vicious attacks on the bush administration you presented here appears to have worked AGAINST YOU, and actually strengthened bush's position.

more votes for president bush than any other president in history - ponder that one.

Thanks for this post, I went back and clarified my position on this (late night post and all). I believe that religion of ANY KIND does not have a place in Government. That was not how it was intended by our forefathers.

I agree in the fact that the government is not supposed to endorse or establish a religion. However just make sure to distinguish that with the idea of religous people holding office.

yes, it will be a glorious time for the republicans as they stand in the fire they created themselves -and the rest of us watch them burn in it.

So, for the Democrats, just do the following:

    1. Be happy it is their problem and not ours. We are absolved of any responsibility for Iraq, the economy or any other problems

    2. Complain at will. Everything is their fault, because it is. We can't do anything about it.

    3. Move your money offshore so the coming collapse of the American economy doesn't affect you

    4. If you have a company, outsource all the jobs (or any Republicans would take)

    5. Sign up for government funding and start a church for fun. You'll make lots of money.

    6. Sit back and relax. Watch it all burn down. They created it, watch them deal with it.

Watch the lemmings follow their ***** off the cliff. Even though Kerry did bring out the idealist in me, I just don't feel too disappointed tonight.

With all of the sh*t that's going to rain down on America from now on, I'm glad that Republicans will bear the burden, and even more glad that it's the right wing fundie Repubs. It would be nice if we could get rid of fundamentalist Christianity for once and for all in this country. Now there's a chance we will, just not right away.

So gloat away, people. Every dog has his day. I'll just continue to look disabled Vets in the eye that I work with every day and know I tried.
You forgot to add these. Hmm-

4 more years of some of the lowest unemployment rates. Lower then the 70ís, 80ís and 90ís averages. Even lower then your buddy Clinton.
4 more years of the highest home ownership ever
4 more years of the fastest growing economy in 20 years
4 more years of a man with a spine to stand up against terrorism without sticking his finger in the air to find out what way the wind is blowing.
4 more years of paying less taxes.
4 more years of Productivity that grew at the fastest 3-year rate in more than 50 years
4 more years of low mortgage rates

Doesn't look all bad for you now does it? My god- you are a sore loser. You still have a voice in this world. There are local elections that will come up. You can still call your reps and make it known how you feel. Bush is just one man. He increased the oil prices? Yeah- that's what he did. Hey- take an economic's class. You may learn a thing or two about price/demand and profits. God Bless America.

I'm sure she'd like to start with less "The Passion of the Christ" and more "Fahrenheit 9/11", right?

That was one of the dumbest comments I've ever read on any thread. I am in no way a fundamentalist anything but I'm just shocked and stunned that she could actually say that with a straight face. Talk about a hatemonger, you need to look in the mirror. Wow, that smacks of something Hitler would've said 70 years ago. And you want sympathy for your cause??? I can't imagine you would've voted for Kerry, as much of a raging liberal as he is, he probably doesn't go far enough for you.

Bush has LOST jobs, not created them.

    Jobless numbers just went UP.
