I would love to live in Scotland, could probably learn the local language/dialect pretty easy since the sound seem very dutch.. esp the harsh G's..
But alas my work is in reading and the commute would be a female dog all the way from the north...

I will visit your beautifull country though! feel like volunteering to be our tourguide?

Is that what wedges are made of? They taste like patato, so I allways thought they were made of Irish people

    - yep, we had lots of Dutch people over in Aberdeen for the oil industry, some footballers too in the 90's, Theo Snelders from Twente E and Hans Gilhaus came from PSV and were 2 great players - they spoke incredibly good English too, Theo had a scots accent by the time he left !!

I'm going to the UK as well, this October for a month-long book tour. (You can check out the specific itinerary at http://www.jasonpettus.com/uk/itin.htm , if you're curious.) I'm always on the lookout for fellow geeky Treo owners to meet and have a drink with, so any UK/Irish members of this board who would like to do so (especially those in the Scottish highlands, where I have yet to meet anyone to hang out with) can write me directly at 'ilikejason at hotmail dot com.' I'm taking my Treo and a SD/USB card reader, so I'll be able to upload photos to my website each day; based on what I've read here, I'm also going to try buying one of those prepaid SIM cards and see if I can't get it to work.

Murray: The plan right now is to visit Inverness, although I'll easily change that to a different city if I find an opportunity to perform or people to hang out with somewhere else in the region. Jpahl: When is the October Decongested show? It looks right up my alley - if I'm in London on the right date, I'd love to perform at it.
