One Clinton making a joke of the Presidency was enough?

He was a good president. Making jokes of presidencies is GWB's job, and a dandy job he does.

Clinton was an average president but he wasnt great and he brought plenty of scandal to the White House. But of course you liberals will neglect to remember Vince Foster (suicide my ***), the whole investing mess and of course the cigar and its lady. He didnt do anything really memorable and I even voted form him on the first go round. (first and last time as a D, should have known better). Sure Bush has his issues, but does anyone think Gore would have been any kind of leader? Oh why do I bother.

Good foreign affairs??? LOL.. If he was so good at foreign affairs then why did we have all the pre 9/11 terrorist attacks? Oh wait let me guess. It was because of Reagan and Bush 41. There is more to life than good will. When will you bleeding hearts realize that? Doing what you believe is right sometimes pisses people off. There is no way to make everyone happy.

And this egocentrical viewpoint is what pisses of most people, the US does what is right for the US only, and doesnt give a $h1t about the rest of the world...
That and greep/lust for power being the only drivers for american leaders is what makes the US loose its popularity...
Basically the US turned from a worshipped big brother into a big bully..
The fact that most rightwing americans don't even want to think about that and believe their own BS like 'they hate us because we have freedom' makes me fear for the future... With this attitude it is like the war on drugs... you cant win it like this.. black vs white thinking is never going to bring a sollution, it will just polarize things and the only sollution is to totally kill the opponents...

That's ok with me. I don't really give a rip about what other countries think about the US. Our country should do what is right for us first. That's why we have a big problem with the U.N. or socialist countries telling us what to do.

Besides, the U.S. gives more money, more time, and devotes more resources than any other country in the world to help other countries. What do we get in return - whining and complaining leaders from other countries who bash the U.S. at every opportunity only in order to maintain their political popularity. If it weren't for the U.S. and the British, the French would be speaking German, the eastern block would all hail "mother Russia", Kuwait would belong to Uday and Quasay, Taiwan would already be subsumed by China, and South Korea would be communist.

Instead, we help the world with time, money, technology, talent, troops, and American blood, and get nothing but backbiting and complaining in return. Then the other countries accuse us of "greed and lust."

Imagine what kind of world you would live in without good ol' American influence.

The most memorable thing Clinton did for me was require me to explain what oral sex was to my 9-year old daughter. Thanks a lot, pres.

I had a detailed reply to this but unfortunately it got lost

I'm not going to waste more time retyping it, since it seems pointless, your views of history are clearly very biased, it would make Micheal moore look neutral.. and you are contradicting yourself in your I dont care what other people think about the US and then complain about what other people think and/or make you do..

From my perspective there is no "out of proportion" for a president when news of something like that breaks.....

This is 2004 and women wear them too. Whats so damn fascinating about old a$$ Bush in one of them?
Whats even more ridiculous than this post are the people that dont want the picture in the papers. Who gives a %^&*?

Uh dude the one who blew was Lewinsky.

Seriously though, you just come across as completely clueless. The president should not be doing this sort of thing even if NO ONE hears about it. Saying the media blew things out of proportion has got to be the lamest excuse. I swear you are going to make my head explode. where's my duct tape?

True, but that applies for any man, if you have sex in your office with an intern does it get blown up like this too?

When Kenedy had numerous affairs did it get blown up?

If the dutch (or any northern european country) PM would do the same would it be such media frenzy?

    How convenient.

I am with Heberman on this one. No body b!tches when we're handing out the money and the help.

Toolkit you seem to have a real issue with popularity. Life is not a popularity contest and the uS is not usually concerned with it. We as a country try to do whats right to help other peple and spread freedom. We make mistakes.Who doesnt.
