Pleaes help me... I have been searching ad nauseum for an old post I remember seeing describing how a TC member reduced his international roaming expenses when traveling in Europe (from the U.S.) by using local prepaid SIMs in conjunction with an international call back service. Basically he would use a prepaid SIM, call a number in the U.S. (for all of ten seconds), hang up and then receive a call back a moment later that had a dial tone for making calls. Because most European SIMs are free for incoming calls, this system was reportedly VERY inexpensive.

I think his post must have been lost with the recent discussion board crash. Please please please share with me any good information you might have.
