Anyone know of any programs that will convert protected songs to "unprotected" content....i.e. to be able to transfer songs purchased on Napster/Rhapsody/Itunes, etc...onto to the T600?

    thanks

    "Depends"...

Every site you mention uses a *different* DRM method. For iTunes you could try to find "FairPlay" - last I heard, there was a site in India that was getting shut down for hosting it.

You'd be better off doing a D->A->D conversion (Play your Digital audio file on an "Approved" player out to Analog, then re-record back to Digital in MP3 format that is unrestricted).

This works for pretty much any DRM protected audio/video.

The upcoming version of PocketTunes is supposed to be able to play protected content. http://www.treocentral.com/content/Stories/317-1.htm

Thanks....I find burning to a CD and ripping to mp3 format to my PC now works....a royal pain in the a**, but works just the same.
I'm looking forward to the new version of PTunes
