    My girl friend got in an accident by herself on a road she travels every day to work because she was paying attention to her phone.

    She ended up going straight when she was supposed to be going around a curve. Jumped the curb, missed a tree by inches and ended up back the road with the wheel gone and right front axel broken.

    Luckily this was around 5.30 in the morning and she was the only one on the road and she didn't get hurt

    Just a reminder to change your driving habits if you need to.

    Glad she is okay. It's a bad habit and I think most of us are guilty.

    Thanks for sharing your experience. Thank God it was not worse. Although we were penalized with fines for taking mobile while driving the car we still do. Too bad for me.

    Long before the advent of mobile phones everywhere, my step-mom ran into a car parked on the shoulder of a road. A perfectly straight road. Clear visibility, and everything.

    Moral of the story: Women are bad drivers.

    (just kidding, everyone can be a bad driver)
