The terrorists have struck again. Just as we thought, the message from Osama bin Laden brought to life a sleeper cell somewhere in the midwest. Releasing a killer storm bought from ex-Soviet scientists, the cell swept east, bringing to a hault all business and pleasure activities for millions. At last report 24 people are dead.* The symbolism of it being on Presidents day will surely restrict our freedom to enjoy future holidays. Instead, we must use the government to restrict our freedoms on every other day. These are trying times people. And it just goes to show you how pervasive and deadly terrorism really is. We must help our government do whatever it takes to stop this sort of mindless destruction by cowards.

    * Actually this bit is true and I send my sympathy to the families of those 24. I hope it's clear I'm not making fun of people's death.

... And we we will fight from our driveways, from our sidewalks, even from our porches.

With shovel, plow and blower we will fight even as our enemies blanket us with sleet, hail, powder, slush, flurry, hardpack, or even snow.

    We will never surrender!

    * In a related story the US Government has decided to flush out any remaining Al Quada troops by dropping self contained entertainment units (consisting of surplus X-Boxes and 19" Color TVs pre-loaded with copies of Dead or Alive 3) into areas where the terrorists might be hiding.

"All it'll take is just one of those guys to turn one on, then they'll never be the same!" Offered Lt. General A. P. Newman, the acting Commander in charge of the operation. " Once they get hooked they'll play 24 hours a day and will be able to round them up with hardly a shot fired!"

The Pentagon had no comment on why they chose the X-Box console over the Playstation console, although a source close to the program said it may have been due to the better deal that retail giant Best Buy offered on the X-Box, over President's Day weekend.

It was the Snow Miser. There has been no confirmation whether or not he has aligned himself with any particular Islamist faction nor any Axis of Weasels.

Add rooftops to that list (I spent almost 3 hrs shoveling the roof at work today).

    Lt. General A. P. Newman
Is he the son of ol' A. E. Newman?

Sounds like a cold war weapon indeed!

Another prove it must be linked to el quaida is that in countries with lots of muslims (like Saudi arabia and Indonesia) they never have this problem...
