Boom. Fitness Month week three, day one. It's time for a new contest: Resting up!

Or should it just be "resting up", keeping with the resting part of the deal? Aaaaanywhoo...

Week three of Fitness Month 2013 is all about sleep and relaxation, and that means our Resting Up contest! Every day this week there'll be a thread here in the forums, and all you have to do to enter is tell us what you did to rest that day -- sleep, naps, meditation, breathing. The idea is to get a little community pressure going so we all get enough sleep at night, and enough breaks during the day. If you have a sleep tracker or any other app or device that helps you out, you can simply share your results each day!

This is a great way to keep us all motivated and accountable, and get a little healthy peer-pressure going! Plus, every day you enter is a chance to win a $20 webOS Nation Store gift certificate! How's that for motivation to take some time a chill?

So get ready, get relaxed, and get posting in the thread below!

p.s. Don't forget about our Resting Up! contest, going all this week, and the comment-to-win-a-FitBit contest on the blog!

Somehow I ended up with the day off from the Army hoolabaloo (today's a holiday, right?), so I'm taking time to chill and do things I don't have to do but love doing anyway.

Which amounts to toying around in my Trekkie la-la-land. I find that the best way to get a restful sleep is to have a fulfilling day. If that means I spend hours monkeying around in Cinema 4D, so be it. I rest best when I play hard. All. Day. Long. [giggity]

Recently I've been using Steam again, and as such, I've bought a couple of games, and I'm drawn four-way between which games I should finish. That has been going on for half a week now, and sleeping late isn't helping anything. So tonight I'm going to just work on a game (that is, not playing it, but actually working on parts of it), and sleep no later than 10. Unless I end up taking a webOS support call.
