It's day 2! What exercise have you done today? What are you planning to do?

February is fitness month at Mobile Nations, and you know what that means? We all get together to get in shape, share tips and tricks and recipes for success, review amazing apps and accessories, give away great prizes, and have a ton of fun!

This here is as our first contest, STEPPING UP! Every day this week there'll be a thread right here in the forums -- starting with this one! -- and all you have to do to enter to win is tell us what exercise or activity you did today. It can be walking or running, playing soccer or doing yoga, swimming or dancing -- anything that makes you move. If you have a Fitbit, Nike Fuelband, JAWBONE UP, or any gadget with a pedometer, you can simply share your results!

At the end of each day, we'll pick one winner and give them a $20 webOS Nation Store gift certificate. How's that for motivation?!

So get ready, and get posting in the thread below!

Okay, so yesterday I did 25 each of the following:
  • Close-arm push-ups
  • Mid-arm push-ups
  • Wide-arm push-ups
  • Flutter kicks
  • Leg lifts
  • Vertical crunches
  • Box and reach
  • Cradle crunches
  • Rowers
Combined with going to work, walking around doing things, and the like, the Nike Guiltband registered 2.11 miles, 4320 steps, and 2272 fuelpoints.

On the docket for today: Running (cardio!) for at least 2.5 miles. Hopefully 3.

Hi all,

To get this started... yesterday I completed
- 1 mile jog (made easier with Pre3 and spotify)
- 30 minutes of Kettlebell Resistance exercise (morning)
- 30 minutes of Kettlebell Cardio exercise (afternoon)
- 100 heel raises while waiting in the cold to pick up my daughter from school

On negative side I sat at my desk for most of the rest of the day. (I need to stand up more and walk-around)

Kind regards,
PD

For me, same as yesterday, 15 miles on bicycle, light snow and wind this morning. I also will walk my 2 Akita's about 1 mile.

I will swim free style for 20 minutes today after hiking 8 miles yesterday. This is a challenge since I'm recovering from the flu!
